Changing filters, maintaining the AiroDoctor

No, the timer cannot be reset. The intention is to keep track of the operating hours of the HEPA filter and to alert the user at the right time about the necessary replacement. The aim is to avoid resetting this mechanism by mistake or with the wrong intention, as excessive filter use reduces the long-term efficiency and thus increases the health risk. The technical design of the AiroDoctor is optimized for optimum cleaning performance.

The main purpose of cleaning the filters is to remove dust, hair and pollen in order to ensure optimum air flow. Since these particles have already been efficiently filtered out by the first three filter stages, a visual inspection of the metal grid in front of the photocatalytic component once a year is usually sufficient. If deposits are visible, they should be removed carefully, for example with a soft cloth.

In order to ensure optimum air flow, the prefilter, activated charcoal filter and HEPA filter must be regularly cleaned of dust, hair and pollen. In addition, the activated carbon and HEPA filters must be replaced at regular intervals. Maintenance is simple and safe and is performed on site. There is no need for technical staff to perform maintenance. Simply follow the individual steps from the operating instructions and the video.
